  12. Description:
  13. 3D IP Lookup Widget visualises the geographical location of a hostname or an IP address from the traceroute output in Google Earth.

  15. The widget launches a traceroute on the given hostname, then queries the 3D IP Lookup web service (http://tetra.emeraldion.it/3dip_lookup.html) and then opens the resulting KML file in Google Earth.

  17. Geographical data is provided by My IP Address lookup service.

  20. Double-click the widget to start.
  21. Click Install to place the widget into the Dashboard environment.
  22. Click Keep to give the widget permission to run.
